Which one of you forgot to invite me to your BBQ?
Friends and colleagues: Though I’ve never understood why so many of you prefer sending me messages via Facebook rather than email or text, especially for work-related stuff, I also never felt the need to make an issue of it. With the whole Facebook Messenger transition, however, I feel like I have to take a moment to tell everyone to please contact me via email rather than sending me messages on FB from now on. Like a bunch of other people, I have no interest in installing FB Messenger anywhere so if you’re sending me messages here I guess I’ll probably never see them. Unless you’re “inviting” me to design something as part of a contest, or to do you a “quick favor” by designing a logo for your Mom’s friend’s softball team. Then by all means, a Facebook message is the way to go.

Now to Sharon Lu, with a heartwarming story about this week’s Wednesday’s Child."
